Default rainy season :(

Am i the only one experiencing low mpg. I think a few others were too. So my question is could it be the rain and wet roads not giving the car enough traction thus making the wheels spin more in other to move the car. As a result of waisting more gas ?

there are 3 vacuum hoses on your throttle body. the 2 closest to the firewall should pull a vacuum when revving. None should have vacuum at idle.

The 2 hoses circled in red should pull vacuum with you are NOT at idle.

If no vacuum then most likely you have a stuck egr valve. You can replace or clean. You will need a need gasket for either one tho.
