Default 91 celica gts- NEED REAR HATCH HELP!

Can anyone tell me why a hatch from the same year and model celica will not match up? It fits but just wont latch. How do i adjust this? Thanks

Hoods and Hatches/Trucks have to be lined up. Loosen the bolts just like a half or full turn, try to close. Its tricky. but do-able. Re-tighten the bolts once you get it to latch.

Thank you so much for the response. I assume you are talking about the bolts that hold the hatch to the body right? They look like there is a tiny bit of room for those bolts to move, so im hoping that will do it. You are a dear- i appreciate your help. Take care and have a pleasant evening!

Not a problem. And yes those bolts. Sometimes you can even see where the hinge was before on the hatch. That might help with properly lining the hatch up.
