Default erratic idle

When I start my car from a cold start it idles fine. However when my car is fully warmed up and I turn it off for 10-20 minutes When i first start it the idle is really erratic. it will move up and down fast from 200-1200 roughly. Generally after startup it idles at about 7-900. I know fifth gens don't have a MAF sensor, but could it be the intake temp sensor? Anybody have any experience with this?

If you have an air charge temp sensor, it sounds like it isn't sending a good signal

Have you tried cleaning throttle body. The source of my idle problems came from a bad coolant temp sensor. I idle would stay up at 2k tho. Try just unplugging you coolant temp sensor.
