Default kyb gr2 or koni ? no between ?

Im looking to replace my struts on my 2'' lowered 93 GT convertible.
i found Kyb gr2 ( according to kyb not recommended for lowed cars )
Kyb does not make any other series for Celi 93 ( Gas-a-just or agx) ?

Other option was the Koni ajustable shocks at 200$ each !
there is no ''in between'' option ??

i dont need ajustable shocks, just good shocks for a lowered suspention.

Gracias

i use the kyb on lowered eibachs and they are ok. way better than stock thats for sure. $200 for each is a lot when you can get all 4 kybs for $200.

**** for $200 a pop it would make more sense to just go with coilovers. I hear that KYB are awesome with a moderate drop.

Isnt KYb the oem replacement ? same stiffness and design ? isnt there anything in between the 50$ KYB gr2 and the 200$ koni's ?

And is 2 inch considered a moderate drop ?

There is a big difference. I have had both and on 2.5 drop it was nice. kyb will bottom out on high speed. My bumper is scraped from hitting the ground.

i had the choice between 225$ ( shipping included ) KYB or 800$$ + shipping on Koni's...
sofinally i went with KYB. i have a 2 inch drop, but i don't use it in winter ( or rain ). so i should be ok if im careful with bumps and driveways.

thanks for the help
