So....my celica is an A/T....I got people bugging me to go back in time to my M/T days...

I love automatic, it makes my life easier when i drive home from a long day of work which is practically everyday haha.

SOOO...would you guys think less of me if I pretended that my auto was a manual by replace the shift knob and add a boot to it lolz

Nope, my civic is an auto and my project cars have always been stick.
No shame in having an auto in the commuter car.

dude i rather have an auto... if i could, i would trade u my 5 spd for ur auto lol.... ya the car might be a tiny bit quicker with a 5 spd but this car aint for speed anyways, unless u got that all trac turbo that be sick, but even with that car i would still want an auto.. i wish i had got an auto instead, its just more relaxing..

I seen ppl putting a shifter boot on a/t its really makes it look like a/t. And no no one should jurdge u. Its ur ride anyways. Lol

auto trans on a turbo?? Really!... thats like wearing a condom with out lube..

if you have a 5sfe i might be willing to trade for that 5spd haha. then i might just keep the car a little longer

The trick is a 5spd celica and a beater car with a/t. Yes sometimes i miss my a/t on my celi, but as soon as im out of traffic. i love the 5spd.
So , a/t is ok if you have only one car

k back to ur og post no one will think less of you if u put a shifter boot and stick knob on it to make it look like a manual its just another mod. and if u like it do it up!!!!

any update on this? my shift lever mechanism is sort of broken but still shiftable (a/t). Would be extremely interested in a write up of how to swap a boot and lever in.
