So my car has been sitting for a while now. I was working on it today turned on fine and everything but my clutch just floors it self?
Any ideas Clutch cable? How to fix ? FYI I looked under my clutch pedal and saw two black springs but they look in working order from what I was able to see... |

Sometimes this problem is also caused by the master cylinder going bad. Either way, though, if you lost pressure and had to bleed the slave cylinder to get it back...it's probably going to happen again—sooner than later. Seals go bad in those things and air starts leaking in.
I just went through this last Spring in my 93 GTS; replaced both master and slave 'cause the car's almost 20 years old...wasn't that bad a job, and parts were fairly inexpensive.

did yours leak any fluid? I notice mine was on near empty then put some in and bleed it and still has a slow leak, you think it could be the slave? I know its pretty cheap and easy to fix. just wondering before i start getting parts

well mine is leaking somewhere but i think it maybe internaly because there is no leakage on the outside and we looked with lights and sprayed some WD40 on it to see so im not sure how a slave cyl could leak anything..
