painting suspention coils

HI !!

I bought a used drop kit for my celica ( 2 inch drop by NTI )
I got them for 20$ and are in good condition.
But there is a bit of rust on them. i was wondering if i could paint them ?
i think they use powder coat at the factory ? anything i can use at home ? they are blue right now.

the paint might crack after awhile but sand it down and try painting it. rattle can should do fine but powdercoat is always better
