Read this on passatforums.com and am going to try it out on my passat when it gets back from the shop, but i thought i would see if anyone else has done this...
I stumbled across a thread about the removal of the front sway bar. The people that did it loved it, saying it made the car handle much more neutral and that it corned much nicer. Just wondering if anyone in the celi world has done this |

when i changed the suspention on my wifes camry. i had to cut the sway bar link. so i left it like that till i got a new sway bar link.
It was really annoying. whenever i turned, the car leaned to one side awfully. i dont know if it handled better ( but i doubt it ). but it was very annoying. i was very relieved when i reinstalled it ( my wife never noticed a difference ). |

Well in a FWD vehicle understeer is usually really normal. There are two ways to help this, stiffen up the rear and or soften up the front. I have a friend that does AutoX and he always removes his for race day. I think he said something about it putting a lot more ware on the suspension so he reinstalls them. IDK should help your car keep us posted

It helps but you will destroy the front springs and struts much quicker than normal
