Just wondering if anyone here has done their own front wheel bearings. I know they have to be pressed out and new ones pressed in the hub and luckily for me I have access to a press. Seems pretty straight forward to get the knuckles off, just seeing if anyone had any pointers.
Thanks.

What i did to save money was remove the hub assembly myself ( very easy with good tools ). and i brought it to the sop to have em press out the bearing and put a new one in. it was about 65$ for the bearing and 65$ for time, but i got an idiot and was in a hurry to get the car back on the road ask around and im sure you could have it done for about 35$ + bearing ( 65$ ).

Ya i got the bearings and seals on the weekend and pulled the hub assembly off the passenger side and braught it into work. Some idiot who had the car before me tried taking the drivers side axle nut off with an air chisel so i cant get a socket on it, gonna have to air hammer it off.

Got it done, pretty straight forward, snap ring retaining the bearing even came out pretty easily. Half the bearing cup was stuck on the hub pretty good, put some heat to it and walked it off. Anyways no more howling!
