Single click, no crank is usually starter (est after sitting overnight, first thing in am). Also make sure battery connections are tight. Hold key at start position and 'tap' on starter and it should crank. HTH

Thats exactally what I did for a while when the stock denso starter went out. Then again after a faulty one from autozone. Just a few taps on the solenoid of the starter and presto! But I had someone crank the key while I tapped.

That's correct, it is a 2 person job ; one holds the key @ 'start' position while the other 'taps' on the starter . I have gotten 3 bad reman starters in a row out of the box (new) from another large national chain store. I use Advance auto parts : their price is good and have a lifetime warranty. I prefer the factory Denso but they only have a year warranty.
