So recently I've noticed that there is a knocking sound coming from my engine (4A-FE) It gets louder as the rpm's get higher. So does that mean I need a rebuild soon? Bearings going out? Any input would be appreciated. The car has 152,000 currently, and I change the oil out every 3-4000miles. Then again, there were 3 other people that owned this car before me.
Thanks guys!

Sometimes that sound could be a bad bearing from Alternator, power steering, or a.c. Hope it's not the engine bearings. Disconnect each belt and drive it to see. Don't go too far cause the alt. won't charge the battery.
