Default Celica won't start after using gumout!

Hello-

I think I did something stupid and I hope someone here can help! I have a 93 Celica GT. It had sat for a few months and I had finally gotten it running again last week. Everything was fine, except for a rough idle. I drove it for a few miles and then shut it down and put gumout in the tank. When I started it back up right after, it cranked, started, and then stalled out. Now it won't turn back on! eek! Here's a few things that might help figure out the mystery!

- I (stupidly) put the gumout in with less than a half tank in the car, maybe 1/3 of a tank and the gas had been sitting for a few months (but had some Sta-bil in it).

- After trying to get it to start a few times and realizing I may have diluted my gas passed the point of use, I went and put another 8 gallons or so of 93 octane in the car (used a gas can). The gas gauge went up when I was trying to start the car, but still nothing.

- The battery is brand new and the cranking sounds like it always has. Haven't tried jumping yet, but I will as soon as it stops pouring rain here!

I'd love to hear any suggestions! I've had this car for as long as I could drive (took my driving test in it almost 10 years ago!) I'd love to have it running again!

Thanks!

Evan

I say you pump all the gas out and put some fresh gas in there, should start then.

Check the fuel pump is working and maybe replace the fuel filter.

Gumout is wouldn't cause the gas to revert to a non-combustible state.
Check the fuel pump, you may have burnt it out.

i agree with snowfork. the gumout wont prevent the gas from burning. i would check spark ( since it had not run in a while, a spark problem is possible ).
if there is a spark, then yes, maybe a fuel pump or fuel related problem.
