Hi guys, I'm new to owning a Celica and apart from the usual old car stuff I'm in love with it.
I have a 1991 GT-S with power everything and the System 10 stereo, auto unfortunately though. It does however only have 80k on the car. I'm having some troubles, I just replaced my passenger side CV joint, and am still experiencing when accelerating out of turns some shuddering and knocking from the right side. On top of that the original owner replaced the head unit and it seems to have bypassed the door subs, any way I can wire that up to work again? Hope you guys are well and enjoying your 5th gens as much as I am |

for the speakers youd have to take the headunit out to see if its all plugged in or run new wires from the door to there. The factory system 10 unit is really confusing so I forgot a lot about it already but also check the stock amp. for the shuddering sound could be something with the strut so take a look at that or a wheel bearing. good luck!

The shuddering can happen if the strut mount goes bad and the bearing seizes. The spring will bind and skip as it turns with the hub.
