Exclamation ummm this bolt broke of on my sway bar

ok so the bolt/screw is either broker or the nut came of witch ever may be but im unaware of when this happend just happends to see it today since i was underneath the car today. what could have caused it to detached. so to fix the issue would i have to replace?? the metal base piece?? yeah i know its greasy under my car gota find out whats causing it or just left over from when it used to leak

It is a bolt broken. If you can take the base piece off you might be able to unscrew it out. Spray with WD40 or rust penetrant to help unsieze it. The 'dirty' underneath looks like residual because it's dry dirty not wet dirty.

yea try to get that thing out and just replace it with another bolt or get one at the junkyard.

You would have to take the bracket off and more than likely have to press the bolt out...it only costs a few bucks at a junk yard or a parts store. Good luck.

Ohhh and the grease under your car is from a current leak otherwise you wouldnt have the droplets forming like they are.looks serious get it looked at.

Yeah hope it isnt too hard to remove and also hope i dont have trouble finding a celica but can i get it of any trim or thise it have to be GT.... that leak doesnt seem to drop oil on the floor and fluids havent gone down

Thanks .. sadly it happend already but it overheated. :/ but see idk if its from when it used to leak. Cuz the gasket and valuve cover are good im not sure what it is its wet cuz i was cleaning it with degreaser but need to use a compresor to wash it with. Ive gone offroading so maybe thats why is so dirty X)

Uggggg in that car !!!! say 20 hail Celicas and and run over yourself 15 times!!! LOL !have you had a compression test in both cylinders and radiator to see if something is cracked??
