Default odd noises

Hey guys two odd noises my car is making that id like help identifying

1, Hissing noise almost sounds like high pressure air being release on the left side of the engine near the power steering pump i believe. I got a recording of the noise attached. I got the clearest sound of the noise from above the front right wheel.

2, When the engine is working the hardest like starting from 1st or shifting into a gear that starts under 2500rps the car is farting. Once i accelerate over 2500 the farting is gone, just when engine is working harder it farts. so every time after acceleration

Thanks in advance guys!
Seb

sounds like you have a vacuum leak, check your hoses, feel around while the engine is running for any air coming out. For the farting sound your engine is backfiring out of the muffler, meaning that your car is running rich. Rich is when your car is burning more fuel then it needs to, check the o2 sensor for that problem. Hope this information helps you.

Thanks guys,

Ill try looking for some leaks i figured it was that but wanted to make sure there wasn't some sort of common problem.
For the farting, do you think it still might be the o2 sensor even though i hear the farting from the engine not the back exhaust pipe or might i have an exhaust leak alone with a gas richness issue.
I 1st thought it was misfiring but i changed my plugs.
