anyone know if blue window tint is legal in california?

depending on where you put it. anything from the rear passenger window back is legal. any tint on the windshield and front door windows is illegal but with a light enough shade you can get away with it.

a tint shop near me charges around $120 for the rear and 2 windows. I bought pre cut tint on ebay for $30 for all the windows and did it myself. doesn't look that bad but the rear window is really hard to do so I got it professionally done. If you want it to look nice get it done by the pros but if you don't mind a few creases and want to save some money then you can do it yourself lol.

in that case i will have it proffesionally done cuz my rear window is way bigger than urs and ill fu ck it up for sure lol

Rear is a pain in the ass. With some patience and a heat gun it can be done. I did it today but ruined a lot of good film in the process...F**K you have to try to learn how to do it. Side windows are easy but if you want a good job definitely listen to garry and get professionals.

yeah the Rear take up 2 rolls of tint film.... well mine did :P got it all done for 30bks i think or was it 40? any ways i got all windows n the windshield 1 as well,

after almost 2 years they r bearly turning purplelish.... my car is always in the SUN always never in the shade thats most likely the case...

on my 07 Honda Fit here in SD they want $190 Sunguard film i belive n lifetime warranty i'll do that on the Honda

u can see it in the pic... its almost like half way of the windshield,... i wanted to go n 2 inches or n inch lower but it was kinda late n he took awhile cause that rear window is a pain in the ass but it came out really gud.. u can't really notice it has 2 tint films
