Found a set of rims and tires on craigslist today that will fit on my celi. However, they are 17 inchers. Do you guys think I will have clearance issues? Remember I just dropped the rear 2 inches and the front about 1.75 inches. I was hoping to find some 16 inch rims, but this is a pretty good deal.
Thoughts? Another thing, is short throw shifters. I found the twm performance one. For the price, its not worth it to me. I know subspec had success fitting a 7th gen short throw in his. My question, is will a MR2 short throw shifter, for the same year/generation as my celica, work? I have found a ton of those on ebay. Also, wheel spacers. Whats a good spacing? 1 inch? 1.25? 1.5? Never had any experience with these before. Do you want the front and rears to have equal spacing? or the fronts a little skinnier than the rears? Thanks guys! I cannot stress that a MR2 is not a Celica and being a RR car vs your FF car, I doubt the parts change over.
I may be wrong though
