The GT-S speedo goes all the way to 150 so your speed would be off too.

look at the wiring diagrams. switching clusters wont necessarily give you thos options.

subspec is right. just cuz you have the cluster doesn't mean the wiring and sensor are there for you to just make active monitoring of.

Oh ok i see yeah i just thought it will look cooler showing me oil and batterie gauge . So they mark 150 on a gt-s so the gts 5sfe hits 150 when a gt 5sfe hits 120 isnt it the same engine

The stock gauge turns the needle to the 12 o'clock position at a certain speed (lets say 60mph), it is calibrated that the computer turns the needle straight up at 60mph.
If you put GTS cluster in there, 12 o'clock will not read 60mph but the computer will still put the needle straight up at 60 mph, causing all the readings on the gauge to be skewed.
This will cause inaccurate readings at all speeds and it will get less accurate the higher the speed.

Just because the speedo goes to 150 doesnt mean it will go that fast. Depending on the elevation it will determine how fast you go due to power output. Mine at the elevation at stock spec topped out at 116mph verified by gps. Thats because i hit fuel cut

All speedos have a degree of error, the higher the speed the bigger the error margine becomes. At least i think...Gps is the way to know for sure.
