Default 1976 For Purchase?

So I'm a 7th gen guy. Haven't spent much time in this part of the forum so I'm looking for advice.

So there's a 76 5-speed for sale by me for $2500. For an extra $500 I can get an extra motor, hood, and tranny. I've yet to look at it, but I am curious as to what to look for with it? Help a celi brotha out?

A completely different car from a 7th gen.
You will also play **** finding parts for it.

Would it be a worthy purchase? It'll be a daily for a little while until I can get another 7th gen. It's either this 1976 gt with the parts or a 1991 gt-s for $1800.

If you plan to get another 7th gen, get the 91, it is closer to what you are used to.
Unless you want a pseudo mustang/supra minus any semblance of power or speed. 2nd gens are good with mods but not when they are stock, they can barely get out of their own way stock.

Whoever ends up with it, whether it is you or him, I'll consider buying it when you are done with it. It is only a 35 hour drive.

Well they are collectible but completely forgotten since they are eclipsed by the classic skylines.
