I've got a 1991 Celica convertible. It's got quite a few cosmetic scars that I'm interested in repairing. I'll mention that I'm in Atlanta, so if there are any local members with recommendations, that'd be great.
First, there is the rear windshield. It's some sort of plastic. The photos show a seam where it's sowed into the convertible top. I'm wondering if it's possible to get a new windshield and have it sown into the top without replacing the entire thing for half of what the car is worth. https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0B1...it?usp=sharing (let me know if that link doesn't work) It rains in my trunk. If any one in the area knows where I can get something like this fixed, please fill me in. Second, my passenger rear window has fallen off the track. In an attempt to repair it, I took out the rear seats, and the rear interior panels just to find that I still couldn't get to it because of the chassis(or something of that sort). Maybe I'm wrong, but the rear passenger exterior panel may have to be removed in order to get to it. All that aside, if anyone just knows how I need to do this, please do tell. Third and fourth, both sides of the front panels (and of course the front bumper) could use replacement. Any sort of instruction on how to remove them (or letting me know if it's even possible to DIY) would be appreciated. Thanks for helping out. |
