I got to drive a friend of mine's Ford Probe GT last week. It was sweet. It was Automatic, but it had the V6 engine...which revved to forever. It had a K&N air filter and an aftermarket exhaust system. It was pretty quick. Anyone here ever raced one?

Eddie, you can't just kill someone b/c of the way they looked at you.

just because you can rev an engine to 7k
dosent mean you shoulud

I've raced a couple... beat them both. The one that gave me the most trouble/competition, was an older one with the turbo.

I had a 1996 Probe GT with a new engine. It was quick as sh!t and I miss it so much. Such a sexy car with the pop-ups, dual exhaust, riding so low to the ground.
The 1st gen turbos are really quick for their day but hard to find now at least where I am. The V6 95/96 GT and 97 GTS are fast with a stick, but the four cyl SE model is the equivlant of a celi ST. They are all pretty bad with reliability tho and start dying off after 120k.
All in all, I'd rather have an MX-6 LS
