Toyota names all their cars after heavenly or elevated things such as crowns, cressidas, soarers, etc

The tc is not a celica, i can see why they discontinued the line. The celica was always a cheap hip car in there line. When they made scion there whole market. To young tunners who want a affordable car. Theres no use for a company to be battling with themselves,

Toyota is now being pressured to can the Scion line , so its apparently not that good to begin with...as far as I am concerned they can bring back the Celica line and just keep evolving evolving it.

As far as I'm concerned, the Celica line died in 1986 when the **** thing became a FWD car.
From then on the Celica was always the idiot brother of the Supra.
The exceptions being the all-trac and anything Subspec owns or that Frankenstein sc2jz made.

To each his own , I myself like the new Celica very much and am glad i had the chance to buy one , I have had several Celicas through out the years and personaly find this one tops the line with both body style and interior. My only regret is that the car came with such a limited choice of motors. It may be dubbed a kids car but...with the amount of kids buying them , ricing them out and wrecking them it wont be long till I have a car that is a collectible and will be all stock ( that is with original Celica parts even though I am mixing GT-S and Gt together).
