Alright I'll repeat myself here,
They got progressively high revving until about 90 when the 4age wasn't being used in the corolla then the standard use of a 11k rpm engine ended. If I recall, the zz family never exceeded the 4age in terms of "high revving."
Actually, the original Celica we spoke of was relatively low revving for a import in it's day.
