Smile Girl newbie-Celicia vs Scoin tc

Hello *waves*. I am having a hard time picking b/t a 2004 Celicia GT and a 2007 Scoin tc. Both have around 48-55 miles on them. Scoin is higher price but may be worth it to get more features. Ive always had older cars so Im not even sure what features Im missing. lol

I personally think the Celicia is cuter/sportier but Scoin at least has a spoiler. Is there anything I should know about differences b/t them other than year, miles, and price? I no longer have a "handy" boyfriend so I need something reliable. Thanks.

i have a 00 gts and my mom has a 2013 scion tc. i have a friend that had an 05 scion. i think both are very worthy. i used to love the scion and i wanted one untill i found my gts. the scion has way more room in it than the celica imo. but i like the sportier no room kinda car. if you want to be able to haul your friends around with out them being cramped the scion is more roomy.

The tC is better. I like celicas, but that year in GT trim burns oil and overall isn't that great.
If you don't have anyone to do maintenance on it and want it to last without ever needing to open the hood yourself, the Scion tC will need less attention.

I think the scion is a good buy but I keep wanting to lean toward the celica due to the sportiness. I guess I "should" get over looks though annd be pratical. I had a honda crx and del sol before. Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Well if looks matter a lot then you might want to get the car you would actually want to drive and be seen in. The tc may not do that for you so you wouldn't want to drive it. Just my thoughts. good luck!

I do like both and think both look good. It depends on which is going to be stronger argument , newer or sportier. I have to travel to get to either tomorrow and they in opposite directions....I hope to pick right.

I think the tC has a sporty look to it as well.
