Toyota Motor Corporation discontinued the Toyota Celica and Toyota MR2 in North America at the end of the 2005 model year. Many believe the
Scion tC

Title: Change in ownership for ToyotaCelicas.com
As the owner/admin of YourSciontC.com, NewScionxB.com and ToyotaCelicas.com, I have had the great honor of meeting and interacting with some truly great people. I've made several good friends and have worked with some of you in other capacities. For everything you've given, and everything I've gained, I am exceptionally grateful. For several reasons, I feel that now is a good time for me to hand over the keys to a capable group of people.
Therefore, it is my pleasure to introduce you to Yung from AutoForums.com whose team will keep the site running strong into the future.
Without going into too much detail, I would like to answer some questions you may have. Unfortunately, I may not be able to answer anything specific. I'll leave that up to Yung and his group.
...
Why am I selling?
As many of you know first-hand, these are trying and uncertain economic times. While my day job may be fairly secure, other reasons (one of which I posted about recently) have made this decision a responsible one for me and my family.
What will happen to the site?
The biggest change, that you will notice quickly, is that the forum will be converted to vBulletin. Other than that, AutoForums.com wants to keep the current forum structure, rules, moderation, etc. They like the community that has been built here and do not want to change that. On the back-end, they are able to devote more time and resources to keeping the servers stable and minimize downtime, whereas I was, individually, responsible for keeping the sites up and running.
What will happen to me?
I'll be here. I will remain an admin for as long as I can. These sites have become a large part of my life and, in turn, so have the members. What this will do; however, is free up some time, allow me to take other projects further and start new ones.
Thanks again,
Eric |
